My problem with excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis)
I was suffering with heavy sweating under the arm pits to the point where the condition was uncontrollable and, not in anyway connected to my body temperature. The situation was becoming so serve that I would avoid buying certain coloured clothing and where possible, making sure I wore a jacket or coat to cover myself!
My work was being affected as I couldn’t relax in the office and social occasions were also a worry in case I suffered a particularly bad condition on that day, especially on dates!
Before the consultation
Before the consultation I didn’t know what to expect, I simply kept an open mind however, I was excited to learn of a possible treatment that could help the condition that I had been suffering with for most of my adult life!
Thoughts about the consultation?
The consultation itself was very reassuring and also encouraging. Mr Sood did a great job in describing the condition, the reasons for its cause, and the available treatment. I came away confident that the procedure which lied was going to be beneficial and also happy that Dr Sood would be treating me.
Quality of contact with the office?
Mr Sood's office staff were excellent. Available whenever I needed to speak to someone and also the information requested was always provided promptly.
How did I feel about the procedure itself?
The procedure itself was uncomfortable, although I may just have a low pain threshold! Seriously, multiple injections under each armpit is never going to be pleasant, however, as they say "no pain, no gain!"
How do I feel now?
Having now experienced the successful results I must say I couldn't happier! For sufferers this is literally a life changing procedure. For me, my confidence has improved dramatically beit it for being in any social occasion or simply being able to now choose any type of shirt, polo shirt etc I wish to wear without worry of “will this make people notice my condition”?
I cannot recommend this course of treatment enough!
